Welcome to Alpacas at Cherry Run, LLC
Alpacas at Cherry Run is an alpaca farm located in central North Carolina, about 30 minutes south of Raleigh, NC. In as much as we hand spin, felt, process and dye our own roving and yarns, our select fleece quality will have soft handle, ample staple length and acceptable fiber fineness for broad marketable appeal and use. We believe this makes us stand out because we see the results of our breeding goals in finished products available at our farm store.
The foundation alpacas on our farm are from well-known lineages and our offspring have won many of their own awards in halter and fleece. Our breeding objectives are aimed at producing optimal alpaca conformation, healthy, good-natured animals and top notch fleeces. Our operations goal is to ensure good health, conformation and well-being of our alpacas to further our quality goals. We feel privileged to shepherd these award winning huacaya alpacas. Our animals have the freedom to exercise and graze open pastures, resulting in good-natured beings. Depend on us to provide excellent customer service and follow up support. There is also plenty of room for boarding, so let us assist you with your purchase and boarding needs.
For a small fee an educational tour for those interested can be arranged by appointment. The farm is wonderfully photogenic including ponds and woodlands that add depth to your relaxing, informative and enjoyable visit.
