FREE FARM TOURS
3 Springs Alpacas is THE AirBnB place to stay!! Located in Kennedy, Chautauqua County, NY, close to the world-famous Chautauqua Institution, Peek-n-Peak Resort, the Amish Trail, Ellicottville’s year-round attractions, and much more!!
The decision to own and work an alpaca farm took owners Ted and Stephanie Clark many years to make. After spending these years doing extensive, intensive research, and with the help of a mentor along the way, the Clarks’ first invested in two female alpacas that were carrying crias in 2015 to begin their herd. As of September 2021 they have 17.
After a 49-year career with a local agriculture company, Ted is well-qualified and equipped to maintain the barns and equipment it takes to run the alpaca farm. He can usually be found on his tractor or with a job underway, and while the job might seem complex to most, it is run-of-the-mill for him. This is a vital part of working an alpaca farm.
Stephanie shares the workload as she can with a job outside the farm; the 3 Springs Gift Shop and the Blue Rooster AirBnB are her babies. She hosts paint nights regularly from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. These fun events are usually found on the 3 Springs Alpacas facebook site, and on www.3SpringsAlpacas.com. Couples paint nights and Mommy and me paint nights are just a couple of examples of the various themes Stephanie includes. Paint nights can certainly be booked for private groups; www.3springsalpacas.com is the link to schedule yours!!
The Blue Rooster AirBnB (www.airbnb.com/rooms/41460076) offers a welcoming, comfortable stay close to the alpacas. Walking trails, a fire pit, and animal watching are just a few of the available amenities. See The BlueRoosterAirBnB (www.airbnb.com/rooms/41460076) for available experiences and reviews!!
3 Springs Gift Shop features something for everyone!! From skeins of yarn to handspun, handmade items, co-op produced goods, and gift ideas for anyone on your list!
