Don't over do it!

Too often I go full blast, thinking to myself; just one more bunny to shear, one more task before it gets too late in the day. I challenge each of you to try this with me, take a break before you need it. In other words, to quit while you're ahead. Doing things lightly, in moderation, with a buffer, all the while being kinder to yourself. For me, it’s sitting and knitting for an hour somewhere peaceful. Currently my favorite place is sitting in my car overlooking the sheep & llamas, mindlessly crocheting bulky fuzzy granny squares, creating blankets for the grandkids.
I fondly remember one of Grandpa’s wise lectures to us, “Especially in the winter, keep your fuel tank full”. This must be true for our emotional and physical tanks too. So what refills your tank?
