Just another day at Quarry Critters Alpaca Ranch.
Eating grass, growing fiber being peaceful and content.
Until it's shearing day, that's when all the alpacas are scheduled for their hair cuts for a style more suited for summer heat.
Shearing Day 2020 is coming soon May 17. Open to the public 9:00 - 4:00
Farm Store will be open at this time, too
Come watch the experience. Alpacas for sale, fleece for sale and products made with alpaca all available this day.

Alpacas are brought into
the cleaning area.

Then it is their turn to be sheared.
