About Us
Locey Creek Alpacas, established in May 2010, we are a small farm with bloodlines from several champions. In our breeding program, we selected our alpaca for their fiber characteristics, sound confirmation, easy-going dispositions, and outstanding genetic traits.
We are the fifth generation to use the family farm of 68 acres. Our farm has the heritage of horses, cows, sheep, and now our 19 Huacaya (wa-cay'-yuh). They range in color from true black, silver grey, rose grey to browns, fawns and whites.
We are located the small town of Keeneyville, in north central Pennsylvania. We are only 10 miles north of Wellsboro, where you will see the famous black Gaslights along Main Street, only 21 miles north of the famous Pennsylvania Grand Canyon, and 35 miles south of the famous Corning Glass Museum.
Our family has been truly blessed. We have two beautiful daughters, Jessica and Madison. Steve, a self-employed Paint Contractor of 33 years, runs his own business Cruttenden Painting out of our home. He specializes in interior/exterior painting, wallpapering, and hardwood floor installation and refinishing. I retired from one of the local banks five years ago, and currently working at our middle school as the librarian assistant.
