Alpacas are animals that you would certainly expect to see roaming the
hills and mountains of South America, but you’d probably never expect to
see them in Boone County. So it may come as a surprise to some that
just 4.5 miles out on East Bend Road in Burlington sits a gem of an
alpaca farm where you can see over a hundred of them.
