Pricing is largely dependent on breed, markings and gender.

At Rancho Relaxo Farm, tending to our flock of sheep is more than just a duty; it's a labor of love. Ensuring the well-being of our sheep is a year-round commitment, and every effort is made to prioritize their happiness and health without compromise. Our approach is meticulous, with the entire flock receiving top-tier hay consistently, while pregnant and nursing ewes receive specialized nutrition to prevent potential health issues like pregnancy toxemia or hypocalcemia. Nursing ewes and their lambs are afforded a diet of dairy-grade alfalfa and premium pellets to support maternal health and robust lamb growth. Clean water and essential minerals are always accessible. We believe in fostering strong maternal bonds, allowing lambs to stay with their mothers longer to minimize stress and mitigate the risk of mastitis during weaning. Deworming is done sparingly to thwart the development of antiparasitic resistance. Regular vaccinations are administered annually, ensuring the flock's overall health, with lambs departing with a minimum of two CDT shots. Shearing occurs biannually, accompanied by routine hoof trimsVigilant observation ensures early detection of any potential health concerns, promptly addressed either by our attentive care or through consultation with our trusted veterinarian, Mary Anne, at Goldendale Veterinary Clinic.

Reservation Policy:

• A $500 nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve a specific lamb, with refunds issued only if the desired lamb cannot be provided due to injury or illness.
• Payment methods accepted include cash, check, or Venmo; however, checks must clear the bank before the reservation is confirmed.
• Lambs will stay with their mothers for 10 weeks until they are weaned and can be picked up between 10-12 weeks of age.
• Failure to pick up reserved lambs by 12 weeks of age, without prior arrangements, may result in the lamb being made available to another buyer and forfeiture of the deposit.
• Buyers are responsible for transportation arrangements, though assistance can be provided if necessary.
• Lambs destined for out-of-state travel require a certificate of veterinary inspection, incurring an additional $150 fee paid by the buyer.
