1st Place, DIVINITY FAITH OF ATV 2023 CABA Classic:  Halter,  Huacaya Black Juvenile Female (Class of 11) (Judge:  Wade Gease)

1st Place, ESTATES ELECTROMAGNETIC 2023 CABA Classic:  Halter, Huacaya Bay Black Juvenile Male (Class of 4) (Judge:  Wade Gease) Judge's Comments:  "A strong group of four, but still easily the first placement here.  Just in his whole physical stature and that phenotype and style, but also the finest and most uniform.  You don’t have to be finest to be winning, it’s just the most uniform that’s for sure and he happens to be fine also.  We see a very, very tight, delicate crimpy style of fleece underneath the alpaca as well, so well done for all of those things."

1st Place,  ESTATES SATIN SEBASTIAN 2023 CABA Classic:  Halter, Huacaya Black Yearling Male (Class of 3) (Judge:  Wade Gease) Judge's Comments:  "First and second was really close.  Good quality, just leading a bit with that extra degree of micron uniformity here in that first placement over second.  Nice style of fleece packed together pretty densely, happy to see that in black, so well done and the conformation was strong. "

2nd Place, ESTATES PURE GOLDEN HONEY 2023 CABA Classic:  Halter, Huacaya Med. Fawn Juvenile Female (Class of 6) (Judge:  Wade Gease) *Ranch-mate Crescent Moon's Gertrude won First Place

2nd Place, AMBER AUTUMN RINGMASTER 2023 CABA Classic:  Halter, Huacaya Fawn 2-Year-Old Male (Class of 4) (Judge:  Wade Gease) *1st Place won Color Champion

 Judge's Comments:  "(Speaking about 1^st & 2^nd place animals) This is a nice high-quality pair due to the development between the two of you.  Well done.  Both really solid bodies.  Great muscles, good bite, all that contributes to a great degree of density and the end goal.  A bit more fleece being put out on this little bigger male (1^st place) with a little greater length and just some areas where it’s really stamped out just nice image and quality all the way around. So well done. And (2^nd place) has that same style.  We can’t say enough about this guy also.  He was really solid and just a great look and consistency and this whole fleece and character throughout.  Just a little bit of difference in the hand (compared to 1^st place).  A slight difference between the top two."

2nd Place, ESTATES SAKIMA'S KARLENE 2023 CABA Classic:  Halter, Huacaya Black Juvenile Female (Class of 11) (Judge:  Wade Gease) *1st Place was ranch-mate, Divinity Faith of ATV. 

Judge's Comments:  "… just next in line for general compilation fibers, for general density.  Not quite as long in comparison to (first place), but clearly all the way at the top of this class.  Well done to you.  Softness in touch still peaks in this group, as should be, as they are juveniles.  The third-place female is not as stamped out as the first and second place."

2nd Place, LA FINCA'S HALLE BERRY 2023 CABA Classic:  Halter, Huacaya Brown Yearling Female (Class of 6) (Judge:  Wade Gease) 

3rd Place, ASPENALPACAS HOT TAMALE 2023 CABA Classic: Halter, Full Fleece Huacaya True Black Female Yearling (Class of 3) (Judge: Wade Gease) *1st Place was Color Champion and 2nd Place won Reserve Champion

3rd Place, ESTATES KING KAMEHAMEHA II 2023 CABA Classic:  Halter, Huacaya Med. Fawn Juvenile Male (Class of 6) (Judge:  Wade Gease) First place was the Reserve Champion

Judge's Comments:  "The fineness is similar in my third (compared to second place).  It’s got that natural statuesque appearance that I really like to see in any alpaca, and that young guy has got it, so well done.  Keep it up.  The degree of more micron uniformity consistency here did place you above fourth."

3rd Place, THOR FARMS MORRIGAN BY INNSBRUCK 2023 CABA Classic:  Halter, Huacaya Brown Yearling Female (Class of 6) (Judge:  Wade Gease) 2nd Place was ranch mate La Finca's Halle Berry

Judge's Comments:  "A very stylish female, especially in the profile and balance.  Look how she naturally has that statuesque quality about her.  I think that is just mmmm!  I love seeing that in alpaca!"
