Welcome to Morgan Hill Farm
We are a 74 acre Vermont farm that is specializing in raising Tennessee fainting or Myotonic goats. This breed of goat is a heritage bred meat goat that almost went extinct due to it's use as a predator guard for large herds of sheep. Today, this breed has made a come back due to many dedicated breeders across the USA and Canada.
Our herd is the only Export Certified herd in the world! What does this mean? It means , if you live outside of the USA & would like to purchase a Myotonic goat - and your country allows it - you can purchase from our herd and have your goat(s) shipped to your country. Our herd is CAE, CL and Johnnes free. Testing has been done thru Cornell University and random testing continues.
OUR HERD IS FOR SALE. We are offering our breeding bucks/prospects, mature/young does and our 2024 kid crop - which is just now arriving. There are some very fancy kids in numerous colors, including blue eyes and moonspots. Most of the herd is short hair but there are a few skirted ones. All our goats including the kids, are disbudded unless, naturally polled. All our goats are registered thru the Myotonic Goat Registry.
Call or email us if you are in the area or if you have interest in purchasing any of our goats. Delivery is easily arranged. Any goat leaving the State of Vermont MUST have health papers or export paperwork done before leaving the farm. All health papers or export cost are done at the expense of the buyer.
Please contact if you have interest in our goats or the entire herd.
