From The Heart
We are retiring from owning Alpacas.
My husband and I journeyed into this amazing adventure with our first two girls, Sally and Mocha , in the Fall of 2012. So now Healing Hearts Alpacas journey begins! Sally had a beautiful Bay Black girl, Cleopatra Of Healing Hearts, we call her "Cleo" . Cleopatra Of Healing Hearts, was born on Oct. 11th ,2013. Next Mocha our Fawn girl had a beautiful girl indefinite black. Then Sally had another girl Patience Regal Hearts Desire. Patience is a beautiful Fawn Vicuña Pattern! Next our beautiful Wonderful Wallace graced us with our first boy, Roman Rezart Of Healing Hearts. He was born with Buttery Popcorn fleece and his fleece is winning many ribbons in the fleece shows!
My first two alpacas were a birthday gift that keeps on giving from the heart. We are so proud to say our farm has grown. We have two adult males ,Benchmark Royal Black and Regal Raymond who has won many Spin Offs, attaining First place for all of them. We also acquired ATA Shangri La's Accoyo Amanda and her sweet cria,a girl.... Wonderful Wallace, her Sire is Brookhollow Superstar and she has Snowmass in her bloodline! Wallace is following in her moms footsteps. Wonderful Wallace took home a 4th place in all white! In 2015 W. Wallace took home yet another ribbon/win..... Full Fleece show, Color Champion Reserve!
This journey of the Heart with Alpacas has been a great learning adventure. We have committed many hours educating ourselves on the many aspects of raising Alpacas and making products from their fiber. Being an alpaca Steward our journey is constantly evolving.
And 12 years later our herd is now 4 boys born here and 4 girls where 3 were born here. And we never know where this life will lead us next? Life is always a journey of the heart with some surprises thrown in!
We are proud to be a Veteran and Woman owned alpaca farm in North Carolina! We participate in Vendor events, and love educatIng the public on the aspects of alpaca farming.
