Where We Are

We are currently in a transitionary period. While we are still guided by our life verse in Romans 8:28, we have switched from Jones Romans 8:28 Alpacas to Jones Alpacas as we determine what name will best represent our farm, values, and the imperfection we represent as we strive for our best.

We purchased our primary herdsire, Alpaca Palace Houdini's ThunderBolt-BG (Sire Alpaca Palace's Houdini and Dam Accoyo America Alpenglow). The only color in his lineage was 4Peruvian Matador-TB and 5Peruvian Azucena-BG in Peru, however we have been excited to see the colors of his cria. ThunderSnow-W, ThunderBella-Multi W/F, and ThunderLina MF w/ a LF outline in 2022. 2023 brought us Carmel Cream-Multi W/F, ButterCream & CrackerJack, both LF w/ Thunder's signature LF spot on the head, and Carmela Mutli W/F.

We also welcomed the one and only offspring of Zagato's Maker's Mark before his untimely passing, Maker's Mark's Last Call-TB.

We are excited to see what 2024 brings with our farm's ThunderBolt and Fiber Abraham, and TWF's Salsa King, a Zagato boy! Stay Tuned!

Where We Started

In 2020 Jones' Romans 8:28 Alpacas purchased alpacas from well reputed farms with strong, award winning bloodlines.

Our male herdsires come from Alpaca Palace's Houdini and Bueno line with multi blue ribbon and multi banner winning best bred and owned Houdini's Thunderbolt and the Snowmass line with blue ribbon winning The Spiced Rum of Captain Morgan.

Our female foundation herd comes from The Wood Farm's multi blue ribbon, multi reserve champion and multi champion winning Best Man Elite Reflection line with Sierra, mutliple blue ribbon, reserve champion and multi champion winning Cerveza with Marshmallow and Heather's Acre's Snowmass Royal Caribbean line with Caribbean Jewel.

Jewel holds multiple blue ribbons, multiple reserved champions and went out of the show ring with a bang with champion. We are excited to see her offspring next Summer (2023) when she gives us a cria from multi blue ribbon, multi reserve champion, multi champion, walking fleece champion and judge's choice bannering Snowmass Sub-Seven, co-owned by Heather's Acres and Lynn Eden's Little Creek Farm Alpacas. Update-Jewel now resides at Triple Diamond Alpaca Ranch and gave birth to a female who is said to have "the best fleece they ever saw".

We have welcomed offspring from:

* Autumn Mist Alpaca Farm and Forest Glen Alpaca's multi blue ribbon Bulldozer and multi blue ribbon and champion winning Titanium.
* Forest Glen's grand champion winning Independence.
