Life Is What We Make Of It
It has been awhile since I have written about our tranquil farm in Indian Trail, N.C. Where do I start? Covid has effected so many people and farms in the past 3 years and has also shifted our vision . We must learn to adapt to unforeseen circumstances. Either we become stronger or we loose ourselves in the things we can not control. I chose to become stronger. Hard to believe that 11 years of showing, events, and educating others about Alpacas has flown by in a Pronk. Alpacas teach us so much about Alpaca ownership. Breeding, cria watch, raising cria, shearing each year, fiber harvest, skirting the fiber for the mill, and some of our beloved alpacas have left us over the rainbow bridge. With an open heart and compassion we can turn a difficult situation into a good one <3.
We are proud grandparents again! Our daugther has blessed our life with a Grandson! I see more road trips planned up to Chicagoland!!!! And our granddaugther lives in Saint Louis. So many blessings and More to come!
