Poseidon has been one of the most spectacular herd sires in the USA. His fleece is spectacular and has held it's character and fineness. He has unsurpassable density. His follicular density (based on skin biopsies done by Cameron Holt) is 92 follicles per square millimeter. He is passing these elilte fiber characteristics and his stunning conformation to his offspring. He is a full Accoyo Caligula son who is standing stud in the image of his famous sire.

He is an 8X Color Champion and is producing champions!

He has placed 1st in Get of Sire NUMEROUS times---at least 13X

His offspring are now winning the awards...often times 3-5 in a winning class of 15! And now his grandchildren are winning awards!

He has a +1.26 EPD for fleece weight with an accuracy of 0.5. This places him in the top 1% of huacayas in the ARI EPD database for November 2012. And again in 2013 +1.43 with an accuracy of 0.5, in the top 1% of male huacayas for EPD's for fleece weight.

Description

TP Poseidon's Jonquil is the gorgeous, incredibly soft daughter of our multi-champion herd sire, Caligula's Accoyo Poseidon. He has won at least 7 championships and 12 1st places in Get of Sire. Jonquil's Dam, Tierra's Iliana is out of Windrush Alpaca's 1/2 Accoyo (Yapanqui)/1/2 Alianza male: Enchantment's Prince Regent. Jonquil is absolutely precious and endearing. She is definitely quite a PR animal and always comes out to greet us and anyone who will give her love.

She is now bred to our newest Herd Sire---Snowmass Touche'.
Their combined qualities should be magical!
