Black Ice, an Aladdin son, took Color & Supreme Champion at an International Show in Mason City, Iowa, Julio Sumar judging. Dr. Sumar's comments: "The perfect black alpaca!" The same son, Black Ice, won First & Reserve black at TXOLAN 2007 and again in 2008 and at the Southwest!! Breeders on both coasts saw an Aladdin Daughter from Crescent Moon win Black championships at AWE, MAPACA & GWAS, plus a Reserve at the Futurity 2005 show season! And her half-brother took the Black Male Championship at AWE, also!!The same black male placed second at the International in a huge black class and is now standing stud at Crescent Moon Ranch.[Look for Francisco in their stud lineup].

    LOOK at Aladdin's remarkable 7-year-old micron: AFD 23.8; SD ONLY 4.0; a VERY UNIFORM CV ONLY 16.8. The judges at GWAS 2007 remarked on the uniformity and soft handle of his progeny's fiber, as well as the uniformity of crimp and color.

    Out of a silver gray and a dark brown, Aladdin has a silky soft fiber with excellent uniform crimp from the skin to the tips, giving him a velvet appearance. With excellent comformation, heavy bone, a stylish typey head and gentle temperament, he will add both fineness and character to your crias.

    Wow !! That's all we could say when we saw his first crias. Then came a "double WOW" in 2006 & and years following.It is evident that Aladdin has the ability to stamp his crias with those positive traits of fiber and conformation that won him the Blue in a Level 5 show when he was 4 years old.

    Aladdin is co-owned with Heatherbrook Farms in Ohio and our 50% interest is sold, so Aladdin will be leaving us for good in August. Book your breeding right NOW!

    Description

    Little M comes to us through a very long line of BLACK. Her dam and grand dam both TB and her sire BB. She has beautiful soft fleece that you just want to wrap yourself up in. Her yarn this year came back so amazing, Sheperds Mill did not want to mix it with anything, 100% TB alpaca. Little M is growing up to be a big girl. Lots of coverage, fine uniform fleece. She will complement our herd very well. Our plans are to breed her to EON King Solomon and if she sells she will sell with a free breeding to any of our males. Keep checking back for new pictures. This winter has been hard on getting good shots.
