Dutchess is one of my special girls. She's rock solid in terms of being a solid foundation girl. She breeds very easily, births on her own and has plenty of milk for her cria's, whom she loves. Last year we were VERY pleasantly surprised that Dutchy was willing to be the "milk bar" for a cria (in addition to her own) who needed more milk than his dam could produce. This trait alone can be a savior in your herd making Dutch such a super dam. Can you say PRICELESS?

Dutchess hails from the midwest where her genetic lines are solid. At 10 years young, Dutch has an amazingly soft and uniform blanket showing nice crimp, and a lack of guard hair. Spun up, her fleece has almost a pinkish hue to it and her yarn is very popular, which I'd attribute to handle and Dutch's overall uniformity of micron.

Dutchess has not been bred in the last year since we wanted to give her a chance to heal up from a tooth abcess. Now completely healed, she's ready to go. I'm thinking a breeding to our "girl maker" Boogaloo!!

Description

ROCKSTAR's Brown Sugar is a beautiful, medium brown female with super heavenly soft and dense fiber. Sugar was born slightly hocked in her rear legs; although we had hoped she would grow out of it, she didn't which is why she's being sold as a fiber animal. She is sweet, slightly shy girl who carries a fleece that is solid in color and uniform in micron, exhibiting very nice density. This sweetyoung lady would make such a wonderful pet/fiber animal for anyone looking for fiber animals with the key sought after fiber traits of fineness, density and uniformity. Please take a close look at Sugar... she will melt your heart and provide you with years of enjoyment, not to mention exquisite fiber. Sugar may also be sold at no charge as a companion to any other ROCKSTAR in our herd purchased through the end of 2014.
