    His full name is Pohopoco Creek's Claudius Barnabas-a mouthful and so we nicknamed him Barney. Born on July 14, 2014 he came to us at 2 weeks old with his dam Silvercloud Farm's Moorea. His sire is SCF Chewbacca, a spectacular alpaca in his own right. Barney's pedigree includes the likes of Peruvian Hemingway, PPPeruvian Royal Fawn and Silvercloud Farm's Mercurio.

    Barney has a playful disposition and is quite vocal. His histogram at 10 months shows an AFD of 18.6, a grade one fiber. At 2 years his histogram shows an AFD of 19.1, still a grade one fiber. Having just won 1st place in his class at the PAOBA Breeders' Showcase we can’t be more proud.

    Montgomery Smith, with lots of color in his background is a grandson of Champion SCF Chewbacca and Dom Lucilio. He comes from excellent and well known bloodlines and would be an awesome addition to your herd.

    Looking for staple length? He's got in and maintains it. He has excellent staple length of 5 1/4 inches, with a 19.6 AFD, 4.5 SD, 23.1 CV and 1.8% fibers > 30. His fleece has an awesome handle and he's uniform. Montgomery is curious and friendly, easily led and has even brought home some ribbons in his young life. Montgomery is a joy to have around.

    Montgomery's sire is Pohopoco Creek's Claudius Barnabus, another ribboned male. On his dam's side you have several well known names such as Dom Lucilio, PPPeruvian Royal Fawn and Qai Channel.
