In March 2013, Catalina kicked off her show career in Texas with a shiny blue ribbon! Her fleece is gorgeous - shiny, well organized and crimpy with a lovely handle.

Catalina began her halter show career with a blue and retired with a blue! She matured into a large, well grown, female with excellent density, good organization and fineness.

Like mom, both Carolina La Belle & Smooth Operator rank very well in the EPDs. Catalina's top 1% for % medullation is earned by an impressive .6% (yes, that's point 6%) medullation as a 6 year old producing female.

6/24/2020 Catalina delivered a gorgeous male, Catalyst, sired by Escondidos Makulu.

We have no plans to breed Catalina again.

Description

Mo's fleece has an exquisite handle - it is so soft! He has long organized staple with beautiful crimp. He is a good sized male with solid bone structure.

This outstanding male is 1/2 brother to Catalyst.

Mo was awarded the championship in white halter and reserve champion in white fleece (last year's fleece) at the National Western Stock Show.

Mo had several offspring in 2021. The first one born was a dark fawn or light brown female out of a medium fawn dam. 2nd offspring was a black male out of a black dam. 3rd offspring was an appaloosa female out of a dam whose parents were appaloosas. 2023: Mo's 4th offspring was an appaloosa female out of a black dam! If you are looking for those advanced white fleece characteristics in other colors, it appears Mo can make it happen!

We had his 2020 fleece made into rovings and it is incredibly soft!

We have no females left and are no longer showing so Mo and his half-brother are getting no work. They both belong in a breeding program.

Financing Terms

For purchases over $1000, 25% down with equal monthly payments for an agreed upon term with no interest. We accept cash, checks, Paypal, Visa, MC and Discover. 30 days of free boarding is included in the purchase of any of our personally owned alpacas. Boarding for consigned alpacas begins after one week of receipt of down payment. All open females come with a half price breeding to Smooth Operator or Dissident unless specifically stated otherwise. You can use this breeding on any of your females. Transportation to & from our ranch is the female owner's responsibility. We will arrange ultrasound appointments and attend the vet visit but the expense is the female owner's responsibility. Pricing and availability subject to change without notice.
