Waylla Tika's Pedigree:
Tika's sire is full Accoyo fawn & white pattern Accoyo Aurelius...which is a very rare coloring for a full Accoyo. Unfortunately, Accoyo Aurelius was lost in a tragic barn fire after only three years into his breeding career. In those years he produced 38 registered offspring* making his first line genetics extremely limited and difficult to find.
The color possibilities coming from Accoyo Aurelius descendants promises some exciting possiblities for breeding dark suris with Accoyo characteristic fleece. And of course, for producing DARK FULL ACCOYO offspring which is so prized in this industry. Aurelius' fleece was a beautiful marbled fawn and white across his topline and througout his blanket, tail and legs. His skin was pitch BLACK. He had Bay Black fibers on his muzzle and around his eyes. All of this is very rare in a full Accoyo suri. There are also many multi-colors in his progeny and descendants so producing multi-color is definitely a possibility.
Aurelius was awarded AOBA Reserve Champion Multi at 10 months of age. He also had the proven ability to produce Champions. His offspring won FIVE Championships/Reserve Championships and a multitude of Blue Ribbons in the first full year in the show ring.
Tika's dam Pucara Prima, is out of Pucara Allegro who is one of Pucara International's prized foundation males.. they are creating some really dense, superb suris, with Allegro as an anchor in the pedigree and Pucara Kahuna on the other side... hmmm its always a good thing to watch how the really successful breeders are making their breeding decisions!
Performance:
Tika went to the 2008 AOBA National Conference and placed 5th in a white juvenile class. There were more than 40 white juvenile females shown at Nationals in 2008. What an honor to earn a ribbon in such stiff competition! The judge commented on her mature body size for her age, her correct conformation, her density, and her luster - A very nice package indeed!
Bred to Rockstar in 2010, she delivered this AMAZING CRIA - ARKTIKA... stunning looks, lock, luster WOW. ARKTIKA made her debut on the Derwydd Suri Showteam Spring of 2012.. (Reserve Color Champion IAO 2012, Color champion GCG 2012)
Tika's 2012 Accoyo Chachapoya cria (Rikki Tiki) is a very nice male. Rikki is that rare cross of Pucara Allegro and Accoyo Chachapoya. With the passing of 6P Accoyo Chachapoya there are very FEW male Chachapoya offspring in color available.
Her 2014 cria out of Accoyo Chaska, was LOVELY, DENSE, really really nice fleece, and super sad that she died at 8 months old....
Given how NICE her Rockstar cria was, Tika was bred to a full Accoyo Rockstar son
Accoyo Satin's Knight! And WOW what an amazing male was produced. Wrinkled neck down his spine, dense, luster, and that FAMOUS Aurelius pattern! Fawn/White.
