Description
Prudence was my first registered alpaca, and he sparked my interest in moving forward as a breeder. He had a bit of a rocky start to his life, but he went on to thrive and has returned our efforts in spades.
He is a fantastically level headed male with a gentle nature, and an outgoing personality. Even as a 11 year old, I continue to enjoy working with his fleece. He is a rich, medium brown with steel grey speckles from head to toe. As a whole, Prudence is especially prized in my herd for the very low presence of primaries throughout his blanket and neck, paired with a very dense fleece overall. You will be hard pressed to find a "halo" on him, and so far, this is breeding true in his offspring, all of which are maintaining very fine, very high frequency fleeces, just like their sire.
This boy is reliable, consistent, and very, very dense. He is a compact, well balanced male and with robust health and virility.
