IPRA Grazioso Fiorellino ("Graceful Little Flower"; Gracie for short) will always have a special place in our heart. She was the first cria born to our farm, even before the farm was finished!
Gracie is the 2012 daughter of All American Futurity Champion of 2010 and 2011, Jeremiah's Quattrain. Quattrain is the rare rose grey son of Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah who won 2008 Light and Dark Herdsire of the Year, 2009 Light Herdsire of the Year and 2010 Dark Herdsire of the Year! Her dam, Accalia’s Bella is a tall, statuesque bay black alpaca with an impressive lineage as well. Her sire was Joseppi Peruvian Surefire and her mother was a true black whose pedigree includes Camilio, Leon, and Legacy De Bolivia.
Gracie is true to her lineage, with dense medium silver grey fleece with great crimp. Her first histogram revealed a Standard fiber diameter of 20.5 with a spin fineness of 20.1! In October of 2013, she took first in her class and went on to take the Reserve Color Champion! Gracie is personality plus and always a ham for the camera. She's been a favorite of visitors at every event she's ever attended.
Gracie has now retired from the show ring to join our breeding stock. She was bred in July 2015 to our own Snowmass Highland Amber. His dam, Snowmass Amber Waves is one of Snowmass' Champion Dark Rose Grey females with both solid color and Rose genetic lineage.
Gracie gave birth to an adorable tuxedo grey on 7/20/16! More to come on this little boy
