Nyala is one of those girls that is always in the background. Not in a bad way, it's just that she's such a quiet girl, never gets in the way, always patient for the hay and grain. Nyala is one of the easiest handling girls I own and this temperament comes from both sire and dam but I think most of it is from her sire - Aussie Dillon.
Nyala never made it to the show ring but she has proven herself to be a very valuable foundation female. She has good fiber coverage and demonstrates some density but she's not the finest in the herd. However this doesn't seem to matter with her cria. Nyala allows the sire traits to pass down to her crias.
Her first cria, Jack of Hearts, has long staple length, coverage through his toes, fine fiber and uniformity from tip to stern. And his fineness continues as he ages, a testimony to his sire, Aussie Hudson Hawk.
Nyala's current cria - Quivera Bay - has picked up the traits of her sire Tapestry's Kahuna with density and well defined staple architecture.
Now its not all about the sires, Nyala does have other qualities that I have no doubt will transfer to her crias - plentiful milk production and easy deliveries. With her sweet nature, she is a protective and caring mom.
Nyala is one of my go to girls for producing quality cria. I'd really love to see what she would produce with a breeding to Peerless Bay. We can make that happen for you!
