Zephyr is a gorgeous full Peruvian Male with excellent potential. He placed 6th in his very competitive Beige class at MAPACA 2008 against some of the largest farms in the US. The judges commented on his intense lustre, excellent fineness and above average staple length. Zephyr was shown at MAPACA with his cria fleece still on and all the hay that it naturally collects. We affectionately refered to him as a walking hay bale.
Zephyr sports an impressive genetic background of ACCOYO and ALLIANZA alpacas from both the Huacaya and Suri groups. He has Augusto, Victor, Matador and Lethal Weapon (Suri) for Grandsires.
Zephyr's sire "TYPHOON" was placed in the coveted top THREE in the "Get-Of-Sire" production class at MAPACA 2008... placing ahead of some very well known and expensive herdsires. Zephyr was one of the three animals in the showring to help his Sire win this Get-Of-Sire award.
If you are looking for quality genetics, gorgeous fleece and an award winning animal from the largest show in the United States, then Zephyr is worth taking a look at.
