Alpaca is a specialty fiber which is extremely rare and of excellent quality. It is sought the world over for its luxurious characteristics and beautiful natural look.
Naturally Hypoallergenic
Alpaca fiber is naturally hypoallergenic. It contains NO lanolin (which is found in other fibers). Lanolin holds dust and microscopic allergens that create the allergies people have to wool. You will cherish being able to wear Alpaca fleece!
Alpaca fiber is stronger, lighter and more resilient than wool. It is finer than cashmere and considerably warmer than sheep's wool. Alpaca fiber is naturally water resistant and wicks moisture away from the skin.
An excellent alternative to traditional wools, you will find Alpaca fleece is warmer, softer, and less likely to cause irritation.
