We are a small farm located in West Brattleboro, Vermont, on the Molly Stark Trail. At Mystic Meadow Alpacas we are dedicated to the development of superior quality animals which exhibit the desirable characteristics of fleece density, crimp, luster and fineness. Our goal is to improve these qualities in each generation without the loss of strong and sound conformation. Everyday is a blessing as we move foward with our adventure.




BOARDING AND TRANSPORTATION:
We offer agisting (boarding) for your alpacas, if you do not have the space or time to support your alpacas on your own property. Loving care is provided for every animal on our farm and treated as if they were ours.

Boarding your new alpacas is a great way to learn about their care in a safe environment. Boarders have access to their animals at any time that fits into their schedule. Hiking trails are available for clients that wish to spend some leisurely time with their alpacas.

Our fee of $3.00 per day includes complete daily care: hay, grain, minerals, routine well-care inoculations, periodic weight checks, and nail trimming. Services of a qualified veterinarian are available for routine and emergency medical needs.
The alpaca owner pays for insurance, vet expenses, shearing and special services like training, showing and transporting.

Alpacas must have vet cert and negative BVDV by PCR test. Must be insured, or sign a waiver. A credit card needs to be placed on file with pre-authorization for monthly billing. 10% discount offered for 1 year paid in advance.

GUARANTEES AND WARRANTIES:
All alpacas purchased from Mystic Meadow Alpacas are guaranteed to be healthy at the time of purchase. Buyers have the right to a pre-purchase exam of any alpaca, by a vet of their choice, at the buyer's expense. All bred females are warranted to deliver a live cria, with a 72 hour live birth guarantee or we will re-breed that female at no cost to the buyer, except for transportation, veterinary expenses and general boarding fees. Alpacas sold as breeding males are warranted to be able to produce a pregnancy in a female. All animals regardless of ownership are cared for and loved as our own. Ask for a copy of our contract to review the warranties in more detail.

Farm Terms & Financing

FINANCING TERMS:

Mystic Meadow Alpacas will provide interest free financing for up to 24 months with 1/3 of the purchase price as a downpayment. Alpacas remain in our possession until 50% paid for and shown proof of insurance.

Free board for first 3 months on all alpacas purchased and $3/day thereafter.

* Includes routine care of alpaca
* Vet charges would be purchaser's responsibility.

Purchaser is responsible for mortality insurance coverage for at least the amount financed.
The registration of the financed alpacas and any crias will remain in our name until paid in full.
Purchaser and guests are welcome to visit their alpacas at any time.
