“Let the forest calm your mind and the alpacas nourish your soul”
Begin with a guided Forest Bathing walk under the colourful canopy of the autumn woods. Engage with nature utilizing all of your senses before wandering back to visit the alpacas, chickens and ducks! Finish your visit with a delightful cup of forest tea.
Forest Bathing (from the Japanese ‘shinrin yoku’), connects us to the natural world, lowers blood pressure, lessens the effects of anxiety and depression, slows the production of the stress hormone cortisol and makes us more cheerful, calm, generous and tolerant. Embrace this one-of-a-kind interaction with nature and animals and leave feeling connected, grounded and relaxed.
Hosts- Lindsay Stoltz (All in Alpacas) & Beth Foster (Forest Bathing Guru)
Afternoon session time: 1:30-4:00pm
Who is this experience for? 14-90 year olds. Participants will need to be able to walk outside on uneven ground for about 1 km
