Averegan's Melia
Well it is almost the end of November and we are still enjoying +10 weather up here in Ontario. Although there is a lot of mud, no complaints here.
So we have been taking advantage of the weather to get some updated pictures of the 2011 crias.
It amazes me that the grow so quickly, we have started weaning the first couple from our farm.
We also take in all the weanlings from our neighbour Hubbert Farms, to halter train them for the spring shows. I love how sweet they are now and come willi read more...

It's funny how things come about. I was getting my hair done and the lady in the next chair was talking about her new fall fashions for her on line boutique (TiaStar.Com) My hairdresser knew I owned alpacas and suggested that they do the fall photo shoot at our farm. One thing led to another and they ended up with some fabulous shots of the animals, all their natural colours worked wonderful with the natural feel of the clothes, a really great fit. The online store is Tiastar.com and the phot read more...

Newest little guy- a month old here
On July 31st Catalina delivered the last cria of the season, a little white male. He might be even cuter than his full sister Lola. He looks very similar to the other Shamroc babies Melia, Trinity , and Grand Illusion. Actually on rainy days it is very hard to tell the little man, Trinity, and Grand Illusion apart. We have ended the season with a total count of 4 female and 3 males and are very happy with all of them, they are very funny to watch run around the field. We actually have another li read more...

2nd For Lola!
We went to The Navan Fair this previous Thursday and Friday. This show was judged by Dawn Brooker. We took KJ Legends Mirage, Averegan's L-O-L-A Lola, Averegan's Smokin Oakin and SVA Ashton's Deefender. Mirage took 3rd Place (Behind the Grand Champion And Reserve) due to stress breaks in her fleece. Lola took 2nd place with the judge commenting on her incredible brightness. Smo took a "well deserved" 1st Place. And Deefender took 1st Place, Grand Champion Fawn and went on to win Best In Show. read more...

On June 15th EH Catrina had a beautiful light fawn girl that is very shiny and soft. This was quite a hard birth as the baby was too big for Catrina and she had quite a hard time pushing it out. She weighed a good 18 pounds and is very quiet. Catrina is soo sweet when the vet was trying to get the baby out she was clucking like she knew she was having a baby. The other babies run and run and run trying to play but the new cria doesn't like to play yet. I like the name Trinity because her mom is read more...
