U of I Production Animal Club
What an awesome visit from some future veterinarians we had this past weekend! The University of Illinois Production Animal Club came by to learn about alpacas! This is great news for both the alpaca industry and the veterinarian sector! We all benefit from having education - and letting the students learn about the animals and get some hands-on experience is a perfect way to introduce and keep interest in these wonderful fiber animals! Where did summer go? From romping in the pastures to cool, crisp days and falling leaves…it all means one thing…Fall Show Season is approaching! Getting show schedules, registrations filled out, supply trunks packed…oh, and of course, the “show string” halter trained! Always an adventure!
With the Indiana show no longer available, the first stop will be Grayslake, IL (October 22-23). The girls are busy telling each other secrets about who they will get to meet, what new friends they will read more...
