Openherd is currently Beta testing our updated version of our farm appointment/event booking app. The new version should be available in about 2 weeks!
Our current farm event booking app only supports one event type at a time. With this new update, you will be able to run multiple events at the same time, each with their own time slots, pricing, add-ons, and details.
So, for example, you can run farm tours all year long and then also run a workshop, special holiday events, etc. when necessary and take bookings for all these events at the same time - whatever works for you!
We have also added some member-requested enhancements:
- Ability to set Minimum guest count as well as Maximum. This can help to make sure your group size isn't too small.
- New Add-Ons pricing. Instead of using the guest pricing tiers to offer add-ons, such as "Picnic table reservation" or "Wine & Cheese", you can now use the Add-Ons section to offer these and they won't affect your guest count.
- New display format on your website! Wil multiple events supported, the new format utilizes a beautiful tile layout that can be swiped/scrolled. Each tile can have it's own background image and teaser text and a "Book" button to invite the visitor into the experience and booking process.
- You can set the event tiles to auto-scroll so that your website will automatically advance the events on-screen for your site visitors so they get to see all the events you're offering.
Now you can offer all kinds of farm events, tourism, experiences, education, or start your own farm exploration appointments, all from one easy-to-use app.
