No Open Barn This Year
Well so much has happened and changed since our last newsletter March 6th, it is a different world we are living in. We hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.
For us personally it has had ups and downs, all of the shows and events we attend have been cancelled. On the upside our granddaughter Emily came to visit us March 13th for the March break and she is still here with us. Emily loves spending time with the alpacas.
We are sorry to announce that we are not hosting our Open Barn & Country Market this summer. For the safety and health of our vendor friends and our market visitors we thought it was best not to proceed this summer.
As thing are still changing weekly we may consider having an event Thanksgiving weekend. We will post on our social media pages and send an email if we are able to host an event.
Many of you have mentioned in the past that you would like to visit when we have babies. To date we have 5 crias, and are expecting another 10, so it's a great time to visit and see how amazing these little creatures are.
Our guests are finding that a visit with the alpacas is a great Covid 19 family outing- the tours are for you and your friends/family only. It is a great way to unwind, learn about alpacas, pet them and have a nice family outing without worrying about being near other people. Masks are needed and we disinfect all common areas between tours. Full details are available on our webpage.
You can book your tour directly on-line at Farm Tours
If you have any questions please contact us before booking.
If you are not comfortable doing tours at this time please consider buying a gift card to use towards a future alpaca tour. It would really help us out during this difficult time.
Thank you for your support, Doug and Carolyn
