Amber Autumn Invitational Auction
It has been way to long since my last blog, so my new years resolution (the only one I have) is to write more. Over the past 2 months, Stoneberg Alpacas is getting exterior fencing up and secure. I've also been working on cross fencing as well as an additional shelter off our main barn to house the main female herd. The new addition will have a sliding door on each end as well as roof light panels and wall light panels. The whole goal is have a space for harsh winter(s)! As well as keep the females up near our home at night to be able to monitor them carefully.
The main purpose for the new shelter is to get the main barn back in play for an office, fleece space and bathroom, not to mention a place for vehicles. the fencing has been a chore, but is is saving us a lit of money! $12k to fence the entire perimeter was a little steep, especially when I get PGE power poles for free! Those big boy poles have secured the corners and cross fencing.
Back in November, we decided to inquire with Daryl Krause about his Auction. He graciously gave us a spot and we selected Mila of PVA. She is a Verticase daughter/Maximus grand-daughter. LOT #26! We are excited to see the outcome and hoping to have a good sale.
