Korean Film Crew At Liberty Alpacas!
Today we had the pleasure of hosting a film crew from the Korean Educational Broadcasting System (EBS). The crew consisted of four people, a lead camera man, grips and the producer plus two local affiliate representatives based out of the Seattle area. This was an amazing experience and we were so proud to show them our ranch and herd. The highlights of their trip included a breeding between StilHot SmokinGun and Liberty's Belle, some champion fleece and the farm store which has been newly remodeled.
The following day, the crew was scheduled to visit Fern Ridge Alpacas on Whidbey Island and a local cottage mill. On their agenda, they were headed south to visit an alpaca rescue operation and OSU Veterinary School to discuss alpaca health.
We couldn't have ordered more perfect weather for the crew and all the alpacas loved the attention. They were especially interested (and asked by name for the “Champion”) Graysea who hails from Majestic Meadow’s elite breeding program that we purchased at Futurity earlier this year. Our young cria Liberty’s Allegiance “Allie” won their hearts, she is a stunning black with a flirtfully sweet personality who kept coming back to see the camera man!
In about a month, we will be getting a fully edited version specific to our farm and the final product will be aired sometime in November. As well, we are told that this documentary will be aired throughout other Asian countries.
Thankfully, Jeff is not bashful when it comes to cameras.
