Riesling is stunning and we love how outgoing she is! She's strong and level and just effortlessly graceful. She did very well in shows in 2022, too. Her udder is super well attached, soft, and easy to milk out. She has also been our most consistent milker, averaging 4.5-5.5lbs all the way through lactation so far. Not the highest quantity out there, but she's still just an FF and we also have had a ton of weather and alfalfa trouble in the beginning of the year. She was our only First Freshener in 2024 to earn her star in all three categories, and looking at her projections, she might be a TopTen candidate for butterfat once she reaches her peak in a couple years!

We tested her for apha-s1 casein and results show that she carries the A/A variants - her milk might be excellent for cheese-making, but might cause issues for people with milk sensitivities.
