Iris is a classic hardy, beautiful British style guernsey with moderate production, easy keeper, and sweet character. She produces 3.5 pts/1.75 litre twice daily while keeping great body condition and minimal extra grain, so far no decrease in production at 11 months. Her fecal parasite tests are always very low. Her sister and 3/4 brother share the same excellent feet with straight feet/pasterns with tight toes and tough walls that need only occasional trimming, very desirable for improving the breed. Like her mother, her udder is small but
high and tight, very well attached, nice teats and easy to milk out quickly, and completely deflates with milking.
