Our little Ana Perna was born into this world small, shaking, having trouble standing in the wee hours of a cold April morning. I quickly set to work milking Mama Everest and using a tiny syringe to get colostrum in Ana's belly. She started to stand and the rest is history. She's been a trusted companion to me ever since. We love her so and now she's a frolicking little doe with a bright future! So sweet and loving and trusting.
