Nimbus Farm's Tiberius is a confident and handsome guardian with a gentle, intuitive demeanor.

Tiberius is loving towards children and farm hands, he is an incredible judge of circumstance and evaluates every potential threat appropriately and has true livestock guardian instincts. He has been a working dog since birth with experience guarding goats and alpacas. His guarding style is precise and calculated, often putting himself between the alpacas and potential threat. He does not wander or roam, however he will mark the borders of his territory.
He shows genuine concern for his herd, will mediate and break up alpaca fights, and is gentle and affectionate with crias.
Tiberius exhibits excellent conformation, strong bone, solid head and jaw.


He is a gorgeous dog who loves everyone, particularly children, so he is safe and welcoming of visitors.

Nimbus Farm Alpacas will be available to buyers for whatever advice, reasonable aid or assistance they may need for the life of the dog. We will make every effort to educate prospective Maremma Sheepdog owners of the advantages, disadvantages and responsibilities of owning a Maremma Sheepdog.

As owner of a stud dog, Nimbus Farm Alpacas will breed only normal, healthy, mature dogs. We will refuse stud service to any bitch which we consider to be in poor health. As a stud dog owner we understand our obligation to share in the responsibility for the offspring sired by him. Therefore, if the owner of the bitch (breeder of the litter) is unable or unwilling to take responsibility for the puppies produced from breeding with my stud dog, Nimbus Farm Alpacas will assist the breeder or assume the responsibility in care and placement of the offspring.

Nimbus Farm Alpacas will breed only for the purpose of improving the quality of the breed as livestock guardians. We will conscientiously plan each litter of puppies, selecting a stud dog and bitch to be mated based on their guardianship abilities, conformation, pedigrees, and temperament. We understand that no breeding should be conducted solely for breeder convenience or profit, but only in an effort to improve the breed.
