Milan is a doe that I have challenged myself to wait for. To come to fruition via AI, to mature very, very slowly... but my oh my, is she a work-horse of a doe, that I think will have it all together... eventually! Now well into her 3rd lactation, Milan is upholding her constant will to milk, producing 16# per day at 84 days in milk. She she maturing into her large frame, with a tremendous mammary. We were hoping for a doe kid from her in 2020, but that was not to be, so we'll repeat the breeding to Vineyard View True Summit *B this fall and cross our fingers. Milan appraised 86+VVE as a 2 year old in 2019. We really think she would have improved that score this year, but time will tell as we hope to appraise in 2021.
