Delta was my first Guernsey and convinced me I needed more!
She is a doe of excellence!
Easy kidder, attentive mother, and will even nurse her grandkids if allowed, much to my chagrin!
Udder is easy to milk, high and has very good front and rear attachments, which she passes to her daughters. Excellent body capacity and parasite resistance. She was born a triplet.
She peaks at 6#/day but gives a steady 1/2 gallon a day for 8 months before she starts to decline.
Delta's Grand Sire was Golden Guernsey Swind Rockafella and a pedigree including Golden Guernseys: Swind Copper, Swind Pixie and Swind Xqsme.
Delta has retired as of 2023.
