Mercurio is a multiple blue ribbon and color champion winner and is now producing champions. He has incredibly fine fleece with high frequency crimp consistently everywhere you look. His skin biopsy showed a density of 60.25/cm with S/P of 12 to 1. As a breeding male, his fiber statistics have barely changed--AFD 19.6, SD 3.9, CV 19.4 and %?30 1.3. Mercurio is a multiple Champion. His genetics speak for themself. His full sister, Miss Clarice of Alpacas of Maple Lane is now producing Champions. Mercurio's half brother, Lucky Luciano, is a multiple Color Champion. His first cria are on the ground as of Spring 2008, and they are everything we had hoped for. His upgrading of fleeces is significant, incredibly bright and with a very tight crimp. In Mercurio's first entry for Get-of-Sire at MAPACA 09, he took 3rd behind SuperNova & CCNF Arcangel--both white. Quite a feat considering Mercurio had only 10 cria on the ground at the time. His offspring are all ribbon winners, and all but two have finished in the top 2 places at Level IV & V shows. And even more exciting is his ability to throw the dam's color, including true black! Fineness, density, crimp, color, brightness and consistency. That is Mercurio. And he has the progeny to prove it.
