Description
Rose is our "PR" alpaca. She is the first to greet visitors (especially tall men and short women). She is a great mom and has had a brown male with a white face and a fawn male for us. She has the softest fleece ever although not a long stable length. Her blanket spins up into a lavender/maroon yarn. Her seconds are so many colors that it is hard to describe the color of the resulting yarn. Her seconds are as soft as the blanket so it is like getting a double harvest from Rose at shearing time. Rose is a big girl - the tallest one we have - although her conformation is correct except for her bite which needs trimming at shearing time.
