    Description

    Skyline’s Rocket Man is a gorgeous, True Black, Aussie .38 Special son out of our impressive True Black Phoenix daughter, Lovely Rita. We were very excited about this combination hoping for a Grey or a Black, so we got what we wanted! Rocket Man has amazing genetics from both sides of his pedigree. Lovely Rita brings Vic Jr., Camilio, Peruvian Destiny (one of Greg Mecklem’s best dark females), Silvio, and Silver Cesario. We all know that .38 Special is amazing, and he adds in Hemingway, Royal Fawn and a little extra Victor. There is nothing not to like about that pedigree.

    Rocket Man was special from the moment he was born. He has very bright fleece with a broad crimp style. What catches our attention is his amazing handle and staple length. He had 5.5” of growth in 313 days. Rocket Man also has one of those adorable personalities that made him a farm favorite.

    As part of our 2013 show string, Rocket Man caught the eye of the judges earning 3 ribbons. We don’t want to part with Rocket Man, as we love what he could bring to our herd. But, downsizing is the mode we are in, so we are offering him for your consideration. We would like to reserve 2 breedings to Rocket Man once he starts his breeding career.
