Description
With lots of bold crimp, this gal stands out in the crowd. SA Peruvian Silicia exhibits full density and coverage that includes full topknot and woolly facial fiber. She is uniform, balanced, and DARK BROWN with black points that stand out as she prances through the fields. Her sire is SA Peruvian Apollo’s Oracle, whose wins include: CHAMPION - Buckeye Alpaca Show 2008 CHAMPION - Indiana Alpaca Invitational 2008 CHAMPION - Sunshine State Alpaca Expo 2008 RESERVE CHAMPION - OABA Alpaca Fest 2007 RESERVE CHAMPION - Maryland Alpaca Show 2008. Silicia’s grandsire is AOBA Nationals Color and Age CHAMPION, Royal Peruvian Apollo. He is extremely dense with bundles and crimp. Apollo has gone on to sire many other CHAMPIONS. This includes Oracle’s full brother and 5X CHAMPION, SA Peruvian Grandioso, now standing stud as one of Stachowski Alpacas 50/50 Signature Herdsires. Her dam is the Blue Ribbon Producer, Peruvian Suzette, imported from the Macusani region of Peru.
She is bred to genetic powerhouse, CHAMPION Herdsire SA Peruvian Olympic. His elite fiber is particularly fine with an AFD of only 17.3 microns, and his bundling fiber flaunts high frequency, low amplitude crimp from his ears to his toes and down his belly.
