Description
Lady is a full Peruvian out of Vintage Vicuna's Lolita, who is 1/2 sister to Vicuna's Ventania, who sold at the Private Collection Auction for $84,000! Lady's sire is Sweet Foxfire Jax who was featured on the magazine cover of "PurelySuri" Summer 2007 herdsire edition.
Lady has fantastic conformation and fiber to die for with a lingering fineness of 19.2 micron and SD of 4.4 at 8 years of age! Very rare to find, especially in such a dark animal. Her posted 2013 histogram is proof of her elite genetics. She is one of those rare alpaca that stay fine regardless of stress, diet, breeding or age.
Since she is unrelated to many of the more widely used bloodlines she provides a lot of versatility as a production dam.
Proven producer of blue ribbon winners! Lady's first cria, SITGA Lady's Liberty Rising, was born June 2008 and in the spring of 2010 took a blue ribbon as a yearling in the shorn class at the MAPACA Jubilee.
