Tempe's fleece displays nice bundling with character showing uniform high frequency crimp from her topknot to her knees, a trait that has consistently shown itself in our Caramello progeny. She's a beautiful mahogany brown with black tips and a few rose gray, silver gray, and dark fawn spots! Her dam, Camiri, is true black. Her sire, Camilio's Caramello is a light fawn that is throwing lots of color.
Both of Tempe's parents are multi-award winners, and shown in three shows herself, Tempe has three ribbons! Tempe is conformationally correct with a sturdy frame.
Tempe has very correct conformation with a solid frame. She's got terrific density which is no surprise considering both her parents have wonderfully dense fleece. And what a soft handle!
She was bred to MaRS Taxco twice in hopes of getting gray and we've got two! Tempe and Taxco produced a handsome, medium rose gray award winning male, Voo, in 2008. And in 2009 the result was a stunning medium silver male, Argyre!
Tempe was kept open for a few years to help with herd management. She was bred to rose gray, full Bolivian, Foxy's Fortune, and delivered a striking true black female on 7/12/13!
Tempe is held in our foundation herd because we have sold both of her parents and her crias before weaning. We absolutely adore Tempe and she will stay on MaRS for the foreseeable future. We will offer up her offspring as they come available. One day we may entertain the idea of selling Tempe and keeping one of her crias, one never knows....
