De Beers was sired by Peruvian SNOWMASTER (great genes). Snowmaster was wanted early on by others, and finally sold to Australia for around $255,000...then sold to Peru (1st American sire ever to return to Peru!) leaving approx 7 sons in USA, & I have 3 alpacas (Destello, Cotton & her sister Chloe) from Snowmaster son DeBeers...as well as a male from another son's line, Snowmass Condornar (thru our Kahlua)! He seems to have little dark grey tone, but not as much grey (yet), as Chloe's son (AMADO's sire) NIKE...or possibly her new cria "Diamond MIA" has rose grey. HEMINGWAY & SNOWMASS DE BEERS carry "SOFTNESS". Chloe's thrown a DARK GREY & BROWN, a PURE WHITE, a Mocha boy, then MIA in 2015 (Brown, or ?RoseGREY). Chloe comes w breed to Kahlua, Bolaro (w Chilean round face) or Triton's Lazer (Triton is a more recent WHITE Class Champion who keeps getting current BLUE ribbons and still carries fine fiber for his age). Dam Kizzi's lineage is plentiful of Grey or Rose Grey (sire lines) & World Class Smoke Storm dam Carolina Smoke (Chili)! OUR LT BROWN BEAUTY, whose sire/dam were SNOWMASS DE BEERS & Los Prados KIZZI (daughter of World Class Smoke Storm), can throw any color.
