This boy is criating NICE cria! Look at Dirk's first beautiful criation produced by Premier Alpacas of the Palouse! Two more cria have been born at Rockford Bay Ranch and they just came for another breeding. Sweet Pines Alpacas has a 2013 summer cria from him and commented, "Her fleece is definitely one of the nicest of our crias this year! I am thinking she is most assuredly show bound! She also has a very sweet personality, which means a lot! She is beautiful, and I am very happy with her." THANK YOU to these farms for using our handsome DIRK!

And WE have a gorgeous Dirk cria, born in September, out of our Rhiannon, who is a Premier's Rubio daughter (rose gray sire). You should see the fleece on this little guy!

With genetics from Guellermo, Michelangelo, Onyx de Mico, Hemingway, Caligula, and Hemingway-Accoyo Nautilus, WHEW!, how could you not be good? As soon as he was born it was apparent Dirk had a remarkable fleece. It's among the best we've produced thus far out of one of our best dams, Kenzie, and sire Accoyo America Diomedes, a magnificent stud. Kenzie brings lots of color with her lineage.

Diomedes seems to pass on not only his gorgeous head and his fabulous fleece, but an attitude that says "I'm tops!" Dirk has a very upright presence and a compact, boxy build along with that beautiful head of his papa. His mama is a looker too! Dirk is a gentleman with the ladies and very easy to handle for his owners.

Description

Cavalier is the product of a well thought-out breeding between ROCKFORD CAROLING BELLS and DIOMEDES' DIRK OF STIRLING RIDGE.

Progeny of one of our best Matriarchs -- LPS LUCIA FERNANDEZ (ZHANNA SUNRISE IMPA98 x Candian Champion JOLIMONT GOLD DUST--sired by DRACO) and exceptionally dense, Accoyo multi blue ribbon-winning champion---SNOWMASS SNOW LEGEND, (Sired by SNOWMASS INCAACCOYO STAR & grandsired by legend SNOWMASTER!!), Cavalier's dam-Carol not only has an incredible lineage, but has fleece that proves it. Her histograms have maintained: 17.9, 19.8, 19, and 20.7 microns, and her fleece is like opening a treasure box--packed with density and crimp.

With Cavalier comes a line of lingering fineness (meaning their fleece stays fine). His grandsire, award-winning Snowmass Snow Legend had an AFD of whopping 14.4 (year 1); 18.8 (year 3); 20.7 (year 5); & 21.6 (year 8).

Even now, Cavalier's fleece is very bright, soft, dense, and crimpy, and has all the potential to be more. This breeding is rare, combining some of the best of Snowmass with Canadian Champions, Accoyo America, and more, and not something to be passed up!!
