Description
Velvet comes from a strong lineage with her dam, MFI Peruvian Vidalia an Emilio daughter and her sire T Peruvian Tupelo who is bay black from 6Peruvian Silver Cesario and PPPeruvian Tansy, a Sollocota import that was noted as having beautiful fleece. Velvet has that an outstanding head shape and topknot. She has decent fineness with a 21.3 micron and has average staple length and density. In Velvet's only showing for 2008, she placed 6th in a class of 15 at NIAE. Judge Sharon Loner noted Velvet's outstanding presence and conformity.
She carries 2 fawn spots that gives her a strong possibility of throwing color when bred to color and her sire is bay black! Velvet’s grand dam was a medium fawn. Every time Velvet has been bred to color she throws color.
Velvet comes with a breeding for a 2013 cria. There are many options available but 2X champion Peruvian Donner or 6X champion Millennium’s Peruvian Ventura have to be on the top of the list.
We are breeding 7 girls for 2013 and all of those girls are non-white. We are offering Velvet at a very affordable price as we do not want to see her best production years wasted. Velvet comes with all the standard OLA guarantees.
