Other/Unknown - Silver Blade won the Reserve Color Champion at the 2003 Kentucky Classic against some tough competition. He was the oldest male up for championship against 13 other males. Judge, Maggie Krieger commented on the uniformitiy, density and handle of his fleece for a male of his age. Silver Blade is an eye catching, light silver gray male with a wonderful personality and presence. He has nice conformation and dense, well defined-crimpy fleece with a very soft handle. His Sire, Request the Best, is a multiple first place award winning male. Silver Blade has produced mostly gray offspring. His sons, Aristed and SBII have both won mostly 1st and 2nd place awards. Silver Blade offers strong black and gray genetics to add to your breeding program.

He is a multiple blue ribbon winning light silver grey male from the well respected grey and black breeding program of George and Mary Hodson of Grand River Alpaca Farm located in Ohio. He is the product of his sire Silver Blade who himself is a multiple Blue ribbon winner and Reserve Champion. His grandsires are the well known Request the Best and Peruvian Guellermo. SBII has wonderful coverage from head to toes with large bones and dense, crimpy fleece with a very soft handle. He has a wonderful personality just like his sire, Silver Blade.
