Ironman is a rare fawn full Accoyo herdisre and a Victor son. With Victor's recent passing, his bloodline is both very rare and increasingly valuable. Victor was one of the most highly regarded Accoyo herdsires in the country. Ironman's dam, Accoyo Rosmery, is owned by Greg Mecklem and is the dam to national champions including Penny Royalle, Camilio Jr. and Rosehip. Ironman's full brother is the highly acclamied Accoyo McGwire, the only full Accoyo grey in this country. McGwire's fleece has earned him multiple blue ribbons at national shows and the AFCNA's 1st Fleece of Choice Award at the National Show in 2002.
Ironman's ancestors and descendents have impressive show records. Both his dam and sire have won multiple blue ribbons. Ironman has a blue ribbon from an AOBA National Conference, and he has produced cria that have earned blue ribbons and championships. Many of his paternal and maternal brothers and sisters have blue ribbons and championships as well.
With all of these excellent bloodlines, Ironman's exquisite fleece is no surprise. The first thing you notice when you touch him is how incredibly dense he is. On the small side of average, this guy still routinely shears 15 pounds of fiber per year! He is noted for adding extremely dense long stapled fleeces to his award-winning cria. Ironman's fleece also has beautiful high frequency crimp, another trait he has already proven to pass down. Check out his blue ribbon winning fawn son, Shar-pei, and his champion grey son, Citation.
If you are interested in adding full Accoyo fawn genetics and exceptionally dense, crimpy fiber into your breeding program, you may want to consider Victor's Accoyo Ironman.
