3 in 1 DEAL!
Astra gave birth to a darling (red!!!) brown male (named Tesoro meaning treasure) this year out of Treasure's Chocolate Porter (3x Blue Ribbon). He has lovely soft fiber that already is showing crimp. I am anticipating him to have very fine fleece. He should be a nice boy! He has VERY strong/dense bone structure.
She has been exposed to Emerald Farms Kozmo, a blue ribbon fawn herdsire by Lanark's Silver Charm.

Astra is a dynamite "beginners'" foundation dam. Breeds one time, delivers alone and unassisted. Never a complication and every cria is 16-18 pounds and very robust. She is a pleasure to watch.
Astra imparts CALM BEHAVIORS! Which in a world of high strung animals, that is a very important quality. Her 2010 cria is extremely calm and is the PR animal on the farm. Astra is the type of girl that I can catch in the field and she most often will let me walk right up to her. She loves treats and is very trusting of "her" humans!
Astra has produced every color of cria, from white to dark brown. Each cria has been an extreme improvement over the dam and sire. She passes on her density and crimp, but allows a male to add his crimp and uniformity.
Her 2010 cria, Alpaquitas Primera was born very healthy at 20 lbs and was walking by 40 min. Astra provides more than enough milk and so little Primera has been gaining 1/2 to 1 lb every day! Little Primera has beautiful curly fleece, exactly what you would want from this great dam. UPDATE!!! Primera is ready to be weaned at 5 months since she weighs 73lbs (WOW!) Look out for Primera in the showring! She has gorgeous crimp and consistency! Mommie made a beautiful baby!!
