Savannah is back on MaRS!
Savannah is a true black daughter of Danko. Her dam, Patagonia's Vienna is a rich chocolate brown by another silver sire from Alpacas de la Patagonia. Savannah is pleasing to the eye with a well-balanced petite frame and nice fiber coverage. Her fleece still exhibits uniform crimp, exceptional staple length, and a nice handle. Savannah has plenty of gray in her background on her dam’s side as well as her sire’s if you’re looking to add gray to your herd. We admit that Savannah is looking her age but she still has plenty of production in her future!
This female has 75% female offspring. Savannah is an easy breeder and has no difficulties during pregnancy or caring for her cria. It's great to have a female like this in your herd!
Savannah's color is so strong that you could probably get away with breeding her to almost any color male and she'd produce a richly colored cria. There are so many possibilities with her! She comes with a breeding to any Alpacas from MaRS herdsire.
She is part of a retirement sale of alpacas owned by a client. Alpacas from MaRS will include a complimentary breeding to one of our males. Since this is a retirement sale, Alpacas from MaRS will provide our regular follow the female breeding guarantee. If you have any issue with a cria sired by one of our males, a re-breeding will be offered.
Savannah tested negative for BVD by PCR in December, 2006.
